The Journal of e-learning Research is an international peer-reviewed journal focused on e-learning research and its sociological, curricular, economic, pedagogical, philosophical and political aspects. The academia, researchers, professionals, and scholars engaged in educational technology are the main audience of this journal. The JELR journal raises questions and provides responses to the research and practice in the area of digital educational technologies by offering analyzes and discussions in sociology, theoretical psychology, history, politics, and philosophy. It also examines the ways different disciplines and approaches can elucidate the concept of technologically-mediated education.
Distance online education, particularly accommodated for the educators who practice, design, and administer in primary and secondary education in an online context can be addressed in submissions. Furthermore, the Journal also aims to bring out the research and works done by blended learning educators who have adopted an approach to education which combines online educational materials with traditional place-based classroom methods.
Qualitative and quantitative studies or interdisciplinary researches applied mixed methods sharing the same goal of improving worldwide primary and secondary education are invited for submission. Research should be both practical and theoretical with implications for policy and practice. Each research work will be primarily reviewed by the editors and then will undergo a double-blind peer-review to ensure publication of in-depth thorough research.
